Will Otto

Will Otto is a people and talent leader with experience building effective, values-driven workplaces across both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. As an Associate Partner at Edgility Talent Partners, Will brings a practical, human-centered approach to helping organizations strengthen their talent systems, develop leaders, and create the conditions for employees and organizations to thrive.

Will partners with clients on a range of people and organizational priorities, including employee relations, succession planning, leadership development, and talent strategy. Drawing on his experience scaling teams and supporting organizational growth, he helps leaders navigate complex people challenges with clarity, care, and a focus on sustainable outcomes.

Will’s contributions include:

• Advising leaders on people strategies that align organizational goals, culture, and employee experience.
• Supporting organizations through employee relations challenges with sound judgment, empathy, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Designing practical approaches to succession planning and leadership development that build internal capacity and prepare organizations for the future.
• Helping organizations clarify and strengthen the systems, processes, and practices that support effective talent management.
• Bringing firsthand experience in high-growth environments to help clients balance business needs with the human elements of organizational change.

Before joining Edgility, Will served as Vice President of Talent Optimization at The Predictive Index, where he helped build and scale the organization from approximately 60 to 250 employees. He joined the company in 2017 as its first recruiter and went on to play a key role in developing an award-winning workplace culture recognized by The Boston Globe.

Earlier in his career, Will worked in Boston-area schools before transitioning into human resources at Stand for Children, an education advocacy nonprofit dedicated to improving student outcomes. His experience across education, nonprofit advocacy, and high-growth business environments gives him a broad perspective on the people practices organizations need to grow with purpose.

Will holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. He lives in Providence, Rhode Island, with his wife, Cat.
