Carrie Alexander is a Partner at Edgility Talent Partners, bringing extensive experience across the civic sector with a proven track record of helping mission-driven organizations design and execute strategic projects to assess, support, enhance, recruit, and retain talented teams.
At Edgility Talent Partners, Carrie leads the Strategic Workforce Planning practice, serving as both a front-facing consultant and internal team leader. She brings a balance of head, heart, and humanity to her partnerships with nonprofits, helping them evaluate their approaches and imagine new possibilities. Known for her professional candor and authenticity, Carrie leverages her ability to build trusting and lasting relationships with clients to drive operational efficiency, effectiveness, and excellence.
Carrie's approach centers on meeting clients where they are and inviting broad community input through inclusive listening sessions that prioritize diverse voices, perspectives, and dialogue. She leads teams to both strategically and honestly assess organizations, ensuring equity and inclusion remain at the forefront of talent strategy development.
Strategic talent identification, assessment, alignment, recruitment, and management have been the throughlines of Carrie's career. Before joining Edgility, Carrie was a Partner at Isaacson, Miller, where she built and led a practice in enrollment management, working across and often at the intersections of PreK-12 Education, Higher Education, Arts & Culture, and Conservation & Environment. She began her career in the entertainment industry at Paradigm, supporting talent agents representing writers and directors for film and television, before transitioning into undergraduate admissions at Lafayette College, where she led the visitation program and participated in both domestic and international recruitment.
Carrie serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at the Stern Center for Language and Learning in Williston, VT, and on the Leadership Council of The Wheeler School in Providence, RI. Her commitment to educational equity extends beyond her professional work through these volunteer leadership roles.
