Earlier in her career, she conducted health behavior research at the TSET Health Promotion Research Center, focusing on tobacco cessation interventions. Jessica earned her PhD in Cognitive Psychology with a minor in Quantitative Psychology from the University of Oklahoma and holds a BA in Psychology from San Francisco State University. She is fluent in Spanish.
